Packaging and Delivery

Online purchase orders are delivered all over Italy and in most of Europe.
For more information, please go to Transportation Cost and Time Schedule Italy or Other Countries.

For those European countries not included in the list and for other countries, the purchase process cannot be completed online. The Customer can however add the products he needs to the shopping basket and specify the shipping address. At this point his/her request will be forwarded to our Customer Care who will check the specific terms and laws of the country of delivery and will contact the Customer to confirm the possibility to send the goods and specify the transportation costs. The Customer will then decide If he would like to confirm the purchase order or not.

Packaging

Products are packed by specialised staff, with exceptional care.

In order to preserve the most delicate products and avoid temperatures leaps, we use dedicated isothermal boxes and dry ice bags. Moreover, bottles and other fragile products are protected from accidental collisions by using specific packaging.

Purchase Order Management Process and Shipping of the goods

Purchase orders are usually taken care of within 1-2 working days from submission. For payments via bank transfer, the goods are shipped after receiving the payment (For more information on payment methods and other terms and conditions, please go to ‘Terms and Conditions).

In order to avoid having the goods stored at the couriers’ warehouses over the weekend (couriers most of the times do not work on Saturday and Sunday), the goods are usually shipped on the following weekdays:

- Mondays and Tuesdays for deliveries within Italy
- Mondays for deliveries to the other countries.

Transport Partners

Goods transport is taken care of by specialised couriers, as SDA, DHL and MAIL BOXES ETC.

The most appropriate courier will be selected by our logistics team.

Online Tracking

The Customer will receive the online tracking number via e-mail and will then be able to monitor the itinerary of his/her goods directly on the courier website.

Delays within Delivery
The delivery times indicated in the Packaging and Delivery section are approximate and not binding. Our Customer Service will be glad to help you and receive your warnings regarding delays within the delivery of the goods and will do the best to get in contact with the courier and demand for a prompt delivery.

Non compliance reports and Complaints
We reccomend the customer to always 'ACCEPT THE PARCEL SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION' and include this exact wording next to his signature, on the shipping document provided by the courier.. Moreover, If on delivery the packaging of the goods looked damaged, the Customer is invited not to accept the parcel. The parcel will return to the sender and the client will be reimbursed. would have to write the phrase ‘ACCEPTED SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION’.

If the goods were not congruent with what ordered or if they were damaged, the Customer would have to report what happened to Nuova Commerciale Siciliana s.r.l. within 48 hours from the delivery of the goods. The report will have to be sent in written and will have to include the following information: Purchase order number, details on the non congruent or damaged products, pictures of packaging and of the damaged products. Our Customer Care service will contact the Customer asap to organise, where appropriate, the replacement of the goods, a refund or other solution to the issue.
